  Dr Barrett performed a complete hysterectomy on me due to extremely large fibroids. Prior to surgery he fully explained my procedure along with the potential risks associated with it as well as answered any of my questions or concerns. Based on Dr. Barrett's experience, his compassion, calming demeanor and professionalism, I had few if any inhibitions about having him perform my surgery. My procedure was successfully done by Dr Barrett on Nov16th at University Hospital in Newark New Jersey. Prior to my surgery he met with me and my family and after the procedure notified my family of my condition. I was admitted early to be prepped for my procedure. First thing in the morning Doctor Barrett was there checking on me at 6:30 am! He couldn't have slept much because my surgery was performed in the evening and lasted 4 and a half hours. By the time it was all over it was 11:30pm! If given the choice to have my hysterectomy performed by another surgeon, my answer and choice would still be Dr Theodore Barrett!
