  Overcharges!
  
  I paid $40 for a regular fill/ gel polish without any designs. I'm not from the area and was desperate to get my nails done. I usually pay $25 for a routine fill (every 2 weeks). I was charged $15 extra for gel polish on 'long nails' which is absurd. Another reason for her overcharging was "the area" .. but it's in Newark and the place is not upscale at all.
  
  Also, I called prior, showed up 10 mins later and had to wait for an hour. They (the manger) also tried to pressure me into doing a regular polish (which I hate because it chips) but she thought they would not have to wait for my polish to dry (she was trying to get me out ASAP). Why would I leave the salon with wet nails?
  
  I did like Maria the nail tech- she was nice and did not do a bad job.
